Jennifer & Ashley’s wedding was a celebration of love in its purest form—intimate, heartfelt, and deeply personal. After experiencing life’s ups and downs, they found something truly special in each other, and their wedding day reflected that beautifully. With only six of their closest friends by their side, they exchanged vows at golden hour, surrounded by the stunning autumn colors of Mansonville, QC. Their choice of a cozy chalet for the weekend made the celebration feel even more personal—a peaceful escape to focus on what mattered most: their love and the people who mean the world to them.
The morning was relaxed and full of love. With just a few people getting ready, the atmosphere felt cozy and stress-free—exactly what they wanted. The girls prepped upstairs while the guys got ready in the basement, sharing laughs and soaking in the moment. One of the sweetest details was Jennifer’s gift to Ashley: a pair of Union Jack cufflinks, a nod to his British roots.
They chose to save their first look for the aisle, and it made for an incredibly emotional moment. As Jennifer walked toward Ashley, you could feel the love in the air—there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Their ceremony was deeply personal, officiated by a close friend, with heartfelt readings from the bride’s sister and the groom’s best friend. Their personal vows had everyone in tears, making an already intimate moment even more special.
True to the laid-back nature of the day, Jennifer & Ashley opted for a BBQ to celebrate. No strict timelines, no formalities—just good food, good drinks, laughter, and the warmth of being surrounded by their closest friends. It was the perfect way to end such a heartfelt day.
Jennifer & Ashley’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that love isn’t about the size of the celebration but the meaning behind it. Every part of their day felt intentional, from the emotional ceremony to the relaxed evening spent with their closest friends. It was the perfect blend of laughter, happy tears, and pure, undeniable love. Despite the groom’s unfortunate back injury, nothing could take away from the joy of the day.
Intimate weddings like this are always so special to capture—when the focus is entirely on the love shared between two people and the memories they create with those closest to them. It was an honour to document such a heartfelt celebration!
