As a photographer, I get to see all the beautiful moving pieces that make a wedding feel like you, and florals play such a huge role in setting the tone. From bold and colourful to delicate and timeless, the right floral design completely transforms the space and brings so much emotion to your images.
Here are three incredibly talented florists I absolutely love working with, artists whose work always elevates the atmosphere and photographs like a dream.
1. Atelier Bota
Based in: Granby
Style: Natural, seasonal, boutique-chic
Atelier Bota is a floral studio in downtown Granby that always brings something fresh and beautifully unexpected to the table. Their designs are inspired by the seasons, sometimes wild and textural, other times soft and minimal, and they often mix fresh and dried elements in a way that feels really modern but still organic. They also run a lovely little boutique filled with plants, pots, and small gifts, and their whole vibe is calm, grounded, and creative.
Why I love them as a photographer:
Their florals are never too fussy, just beautifully arranged, with a natural flow that looks incredible in photos. Whether it's a delicate bouquet or a table arrangement, it always feels authentic and fits the couple and the setting.
Favourite wedding together:
Annie & Felix’s vineyard celebration in the fall, Atelier Bota’s florals added so much warmth and texture to the day, and the colours were perfect for the season.
2. Rosemary Fleurs
Based in: Waterloo, QC
Style: Romantic, seasonal, eco-responsible
Rosemary Fleurs creates florals that are soft, poetic, and completely in tune with the seasons. She only works with what's locally available and in bloom, which gives every bouquet and arrangement a natural, grounded feel. Her work has this effortless garden style—romantic, full of movement, and always a perfect fit for the day.
I also love her commitment to sustainability. She’s thoughtful about her materials and practices, without ever compromising on beauty.
Why I love her as a photographer:
Seasonal florals have a freshness and authenticity that really shows in photos. Rosemary Fleurs' work is light and airy, with colours and textures that blend beautifully into the landscape and portraits.
Favourite wedding together:
Mylène & Martin’s summer wedding was such a favourite of mine. Everything about it felt relaxed and intentional, and the florals brought just the right amount of softness and charm. If you want to see what her work looks like in action, I blogged about their day here.
3. Bo.Bouquet
Based in: Montreal, QC
Style: Eco-friendly, playful, bold with colour and texture
Bo.Bouquet brings such a fresh, creative energy to the floral world. Her work is anything but traditional—think unexpected textures, bold palettes, and funky shapes that make every bouquet and arrangement totally unique. She’s not afraid to break the “rules,” and that’s exactly what makes her designs so striking.
She’s also really mindful of her environmental impact, using sustainable practices and focusing on seasonal, local flowers whenever possible. Everything she creates feels intentional, artistic, and full of personality.
Why I love her as a photographer:
Her florals are a dream to photograph—so much movement, contrast, and colour. They instantly add energy to the images and always reflect the couple’s vibe in such a fun and creative way. Her work stands out in the best way, without ever overshadowing the people holding the bouquet.
Favourite wedding together: The one I shot for Gelsey & Tristan at Auberge Saint‑Gabriel was such a standout. Bo.Bouquet’s florals really stole the show—vibrant, sculptural, and colourful in the best way. It felt so true to the couple and so fun to capture across the day. You can see it in detail on my blog here.
4. BONUS: H3Katelier
Based in: St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC
Style: Sculptural, warm, refined
I had to include H3Katelier as a bonus mention even if she's taking a break from florals at the moment. She’s not only an incredible florist, but also a good friend, and she did the florals for my own wedding. Her style is modern and sculptural, but never cold, she brings in warm tones, soft textures, and thoughtful, unexpected pairings that feel personal and elevated.
She has this amazing ability to create movement and balance in a bouquet. The mix of shapes, tones, and textures in mine felt so harmonious—dried elements alongside fresh blooms, playful petals next to clean lines. It was somehow both minimalist and full of emotion.
Why I love her as a photographer:
Her work photographs beautifully. The subtle contrasts, layered tones, and interesting shapes make every detail sing on camera. Even the most delicate bits hold their own in close-ups.
Favourite wedding together:
My own! Here are the florals she designed for me: earthy, peachy, and full of depth. It felt like an extension of me, and I couldn’t have loved it more.
Flowers aren’t just decor—they help tell your story. Each of these florists brings a unique style and heart to their work, and it always shows in the photos. If you're still searching for someone to bring your floral vision to life, I can’t recommend Atelier Bota, Rosemary Fleurs, Bo.Bouquet and H3Katelier enough.
